My Adventure Ed. Trip

This week i went on my first adventure ed. trip, and now i will tell you about it. We left for the trip on sunday and rode the bus for hours. When we got to the coast we started hiking right when we arrived. The first days hike was only 3 miles on a board walk through the woods so it was not very hard. When we arrived at are first campsite its was around 3:30 so we had some time to hang out. That night when we went to bed it was not raining so that was a good thing. When we woke up in the morning Andrew (my tent partner) realized that raccoons had stolen all of his trail mix for the entire trip. That morning when we started hiking the wind was blowing and the rain was coming down pretty hard. The wind was blowing so hard that it broke Andrews umbrella. After we had hiked for about two miles the wind started to die down and so did the rain. Halfway through the hike on the second day we came to a big hill and me and Andrew climbed up it and ate lunch. That night we stayed at my favorite campsite out of the whole trip. This campsite is located on the top of a cliff right above the beach. later that night me and Sam went down to the beach and hung out for a while. In the morning we woke up and went down to the beach and skipped some rocks. On the third day we met the other group halfway through the hike. We stopped and talked to them for about 15 minutes then started walking again . At the next campsite we stayed at we went and picked some muscles of one of the near by rocks. we cooked the muscles over the fire by putting them in our pots then pouring water into our pots and waiting for the muscles to open. Later that night I was making my mountain house meal and it spilled all over me. To be continued.....

That sounds like a pretty fun trip for the most part Cameron! Also your campsite sounded pretty cool too! I kinda wish i was still in Adventure Ed. But that sounded pretty fun except for the rain and wind!

You should write more about your trip!

That was a really fun trip. That was funny when the racoons stole my trailmix, it was not funny when it happened. I can't believe my umbrella broke because of the wind. I really liked our second campsite too. I can't wait until our California trip.

That sounds cool. I was in adventure ed. last year and it sounded like the trip was about the same. I was in the group that went from the north to the south like you. My favorit campsite was Yellow Banks, the one on the cliff, but I can't remember if it was the second or third camp site. It only rained on the third day, but it rained so hard that all my stuff got wet. Even if you didn't like this trip you should definetly stay with and go to California!!! The California trip was one of the funnest things I did in my life. Just Remember to bring lots of money!

Hey Cameron. I went to the same trip. It is too bad we weren't in the same group. You guys were lucky to have the easy board walk in the beginning. It was fun seeing the other group, kind of like a reunion. Who cooked the muscles for you guys? Issac cooked for us.
